Ortogneiss granitoide di età pretriassica, a grana media e con scistosità ben marcata, definita da piani millimetrici di biotite. La roccia si presenta a fondo bianco sul quale spicca una vivace macchiettatura nera; nel complesso il disegno è piuttosto uniforme. Questo materiale è noto anche come "Serizzo Bianco".

Impieghi: pavimenti e rivestimenti per interni ed esterni, scale, zoccolini, soglie, davanzali, contorni per finestre, portali, cornici, copertine, balconi, mensole, panchine, cordoli, pavimentazioni stradali, fioriere, colonne, piani bagno e cucina, tavoli, fontane, arte funeraria, lapidi e cappelle.

Granitois orthogneiss of pre-Triassic age, with medium size grains and accentuated schistosity, defined by biotite millimetric plans. The rock is characterised by a white background with bright black spots. In the whole, the pattern is rather even. It is also known as "White Serizzo".

Uses: indoor and outdoor floorings and coatings, stairs, skirting units, threshold, window-sills, window surrounds, frames, portals, balconies, sills, benches, kerbs, road paving, flower-holders, columns, kitchen and bathroom table-tops, fountains, funerary art, graves and chapels.
